Pinemere Camp’s staff is an essential part of what makes our camp family special. Every summer, over 100 incredible individuals from all backgrounds and locations come together to provide a fun, safe, and meaningful experience for our campers. Our staff-to-camper ratio of 3:1 ensures a well-supervised and nurturing environment, allowing each camper to thrive.
Many of our staff members have grown up at Pinemere as campers or CITs, but even new hires quickly become integral parts of our community. Staff members are chosen for their enthusiasm, skills, and dedication to creating memorable summers. Each team member undergoes thorough screening and interviews with our camp directors and participates in a comprehensive Orientation & Training Program, along with in-service training throughout the camp season.
Summer Positions
We offer a range of positions to support campers and camp operations, including:
Supervisors
Arrive three weeks before camp starts
Counselors
General and Specialty Counselors arrive 1-2 weeks before camp
Support Staff
Positions in Office, Medical, Food Service, Maintenance, Security, Housekeeping, and Drivers
