  • Encourages outdoor fun and exploration
  • Promotes face-to-face communication and friendship
  • Levels the playing field for all campers
  • Prevents stress around device loss or damage
  • Provides a refreshing break from screens and social media
  • Helps campers fully embrace their camp experience Check out the Family Guide for details on acceptable music devices.
Describe the Jewish community at Pinemere Camp.

Pinemere is nondenominational & focuses on everyone’s own Jewish Identity Experience. We celebrate the Jewish culture through Shabbat Services, songs & prayer, Israeli music and traditions. We focus on experiential education (where campers may bake challah or make a menorah in a woodshop) and stay clear of the “classroom feel.” We like to say campers go to Hebrew School for a “Jewish Mind” and camp for a “Jewish Heart.”

Pinemere partners with a Medication Distribution Program to ensure safe and effective distribution of all regularly dosed and as-needed medications. Families enrolled in this service provide medication details before camp starts, allowing our Health Center team of nurses and doctors to administer medications with care throughout the season.

Our campers come from all over the country and we are close to Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey!

Pinemere usually offers transportation to and from camp from Rockville, MD (Subject to availability).

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with — we’re here to make your Pinemere experience seamless and memorable!
