Host Your Event at Pinemere Camp

At Pinemere Camp, we specialize in hosting group retreats (schools, synagogues, churches, organizations), reunions, meetings and private special events. Spanning 180 acres, our campy, community-focused facility is available from mid-August to early June.

Accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA), Pinemere blends natural beauty with modern camp amenities, providing the perfect backdrop for memorable gatherings. Our facility includes residential accommodations, program areas, meeting spaces, athletic facilities, and dining services to suit groups of all sizes.

Lodging & Accommodations

Conference Facility (mid-August – June 1)

The John Bernheimer Conference Facility has dorm-style lodging for 48 guests, with two separate rooms (12 bunk beds each), 2 sets of full bathrooms, a common room for meetings, and a kitchen & dining area.

Health Center (mid-August – June 1)

A heated and air-conditioned building with 4 private bedrooms, each with a full-sized bed and private bathroom, 4 rooms with bunk beds & a shared bathroom, plus a main room, small kitchen, and additional shared powderoom.

Cabin Units (May 15 – June 1, Mid-August – Oct 15)

Our rustic camp cabins in the Line, Row, & Hilltop have twin beds, bunk beds, shelving, full electricity, and screened windows. Each unit has bathrooms with toilets, sinks, and showers. 

  • Line Unit: 8 cabins (4 buildings), 80-person capacity
  • Row Unit: 8 cabins (6 buildings), 80-person capacity
  • Hilltop Unit: 8 cabins (4 buildings), 96-person capacity
“Chefs” Cabins (May 1 – June 1, Mid-August – Oct 15)

5 private rooms with full-sized beds, a shared common space, washer & dryer, and three private bathrooms.

Program & Meeting Facilities

Rec Hall & The Dell (mid-August – June 1)

The Recreation Hall is large indoor event space with a stage, lighting, and sound system. Approximate seating for 300. The Dell has an adjacent covered outdoor amphitheater with bench seating, sharing the Rec Hall stage.

Dining Hall (May 15 – June 1, Mid-August – Oct 15)

The Vincent Flowers Dining Hall is a spacious dining hall with a commercial kitchen, seating for all guests, and family-style meals for groups of any size up to 300 for seating.

Outdoor Covered Pavilion (May 15 – June 1, Mid-August – Oct 15)

Multi-purpose outdoor covered pavilion. Capacity 250.

Pavilion (May 15 – June 1, Mid-August – Oct 15)

The Anne Friedman Glauber Pavilion is an outdoor, covered multipurpose pavilion adjacent to the dining hall. With a capacity of 250, tables, benches, and a stage & sound system can be set up.

Arts & Crafts Building (May 15 – June 1, Mid-August – Oct 15)

Flexible space for meetings or creative activities, available when staffed. 40 person capacity.

Chapel (May 15 – June 1, Mid-August – Oct 15)

An outdoor gathering space with bench seating and a podium.

Staff Lounge (May 15 – June 1, Mid-August – Oct 15)

The Sol Lipton Staff Lounge is a comfortable space for meetings and gatherings, with seating, WiFi, and television access.

Pavilion (May 15 – June 1, Mid-August – Oct 15)

The Anne Friedman Glauber Pavilion is an outdoor, covered multipurpose pavilion adjacent to the dining hall. With a capacity of 250, tables, benches, and a stage & sound system can be set up.

Athletic & Recreational Facilities

Field House (mid-August – June 1, weather permitting)

The Robert H. Miner Field House is a large indoor gymnasium with basketball courts, volleyball, soccer, hockey, and more. Equipped with six hoops, a scoreboard, and restrooms.

Boating, Beach & Swimming Pool (May 15 – June 1, mid-August – Oct 15)
  • 9-acre private lake for canoeing, kayaking, and paddle-boarding
  • Half-Olympic-sized pool with swim lanes and diving area
  • Requires certified lifeguard staff provided by Pinemere (additional fee applies)

Food Service

Pinemere provides kosher food service with breakfast, lunch, and dinner tailored to each group’s needs. All menus are set two weeks prior to arrival, and all allergies/dietary requirements must be provided in advance. Additional kosher catering options are available upon request. Meals are served in the Dining Hall (spring & fall) and in the Bernheimer Kitchen (winter months).
Due to allergy concerns and kosher guidelines, outside food is not permitted unless approved by the Associate Director.

Staffing & Programming

All rental groups must provide their own supervision. Pinemere staff is available for food service, facility maintenance, and specialized programs, such as waterfront activities (subject to availability).

  • Groups must have 1 adult per 10 minors (younger children may require a different ratio).
  • All schedules must be submitted two weeks prior to arrival.

Pinemere staff ensures safety and facility upkeep but will not interfere with group activities.

Rates & Reservations

Pricing is based on group size, length of stay, food service, and staffing needs.

  • Rates are per person (staff members are charged same rate as participants).
  • Full payment is due at least two weeks prior to arrival.
  • To secure a reservation, a Facility Agreement and deposit are required.
